ABOUT PEGASUS

Pegasus Property Asset Management was founded by James Wharrie who saw an opportunity to provide independent Asset Management and Project Management services primarily in the north west of England.

James Wharrie is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors having qualified as a Chartered Surveyor during his employment at King Sturge in London in 2003. During his time at King Sturge, James experienced many property disciplines within the commercial sector including Property Management, Valuation, Agency and Landlord and Tenant before securing a permanent position in the National Investment and Development Department. James was involved in a number of property portfolio transactions, many in excess of £100 million during his time in the investment department.

James Wharrie left King Sturge in 2004 following an approach to work for Barlows, a private investment and development company based in Chester. For over five years, James was involved in investment and development work throughout a range of commercial sectors including, hotels, offices, industrial, retail, car dealerships, petrol filling stations and the medical sector.

During his time at Barlows, James was responsible for coordinating development schemes which included assembling land for development, securing pre-lets on a subject to planning basis, obtaining planning permissions, project management of developments including managing the tender process, appointing consultants and negotiating terms and organising marketing meeting with letting agents.
